ITACHI UCHIHA

REMEMBERED AS VILLAIN, DIED AS HERO...

  • Obsessed with the organization, obsessed with the clan, obsessed with our lineage... A worthless compulsion that enslaves us and limits our capabilities, leading us to fear what you don't understand.

  • Being the best isn't all it's cracked up to be. When you have power, you become arrogant and isolated from the world, no matter how coveted and sought after you are in the beginning.

  • I'm always going to be there for you, even if it's only as an obstacle for you to overcome. Even if you do hate me... That's what big brothers are for.

  • Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness.

  •  It isn't that if you become Hokage everyone will acknowledge you... It's the ones who are acknowledged that can become Hokage.

  • People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That's how they define "reality". But what does it mean to be "correct" or "true"? Merely vague concepts… their "reality" may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their  own beliefs?

  • Appearances and preconceptions aren't going to tell you anything.

  • It is foolish to fear what we’ve yet to see and know!!

  • Those who can’t acknowledge their real selves are bound to fail.

  • True Change cannot be made if it is bound by laws and limitations, predictions and imagination.

  • How can we evolve when regulation is all we know?

  • Forgive yourself on what you aren’t able to do, if you want to know who you are, you have to look at your real self and acknowledge what you see.

  • No. I’m telling you to learn to forgive yourself for not being omnipotent. It’s because we can’t do everything ourselves that we have friends to fill in the gaps. They also make sure we don’t undervalue the things we can do. If you want to know who you are, look at your true self once more, and accept what you see. I failed to do this. I lied to everyone, and I spent my life deceiving myself as well. Those who cannot accept themselves will fail. Just like I once did.

The village does have its dark side and its inconsistencies, but I'm still Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf.
